Who's responsible for your data

This site is run by Angus Robertson, trading as Lifetime Site. Angus Robertson is the data controller for the personal data described below. Contact: [email protected].

What I collect, and why

When you use the enquiry form on this site, I collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business name
• Whatever you write in the message field, and which "current situation" option you select

I use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if you choose to go ahead, to agree and deliver a website build. The lawful basis for this is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and/or my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries sent to me directly.

I don't use your data for marketing, and I don't sell or share it with anyone except the processors listed below.

Who else sees it

• Web3Forms — the service that delivers your enquiry from this website to my inbox. They store submissions for up to 30 days for delivery and backup purposes, then delete them.
• Zoho — I read my email through Zoho Mail, so enquiries sit in that inbox like any other email until I delete them.
• Cloudflare — this site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit. This doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you individually — it counts page views and an approximate country from your IP address, which isn't stored against you.
• Google Fonts — this site loads its typefaces from Google's servers, which means your device's IP address is shared with Google when the page loads. Google doesn't set cookies for this.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry emails for as long as they're relevant to an ongoing or potential piece of work, and delete them when they're not. Web3Forms automatically deletes its own copy of a submission after 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask me to:

• Show you what data I hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete your data
• Stop using your data for a particular purpose

Email [email protected] and I'll deal with it directly. If you're not happy with how I've handled something, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), the UK's data protection regulator.

This site doesn't use cookies to track you. See "Who else sees it" above for the (cookieless) analytics and font services it does use instead.
